Om the Gnome and the Chanting Comb

As we flip through the pages of the book, we will find beautiful illustrations by Tahirah Powell. It is a story about a boy named Om, who was a gnome. Interestingly, the story also has three small objects to be found on each page: the feather, the mouse, and the ladybug. While you read the story, you can ask the little one to look for the objects on each page. On Om’s birthday, his grandma Gnome gifted him a  shiny comb. It was not a normal comb; it was an extraordinary comb that had some strong powers behind it. While combing, Om relaxes himself with the chanting of “Om.” Initially, he was very stressed with the tangles in his hair, but when he combed his hair with the comb and chanted the word “Om,” he was relaxed and peaceful. He became happy after practising Om, thanked his grandma, and felt grateful towards her for gifting that magical comb. Trishla has also maintained rhyming words in the story, which adds more colour to the story.
